The worst and filthiest experience ever! Total rip-off at $30 per person! My experience at NYC Buffet was an absolute disaster. We only ordered strawberries, grapes, french fries, and rice, but everything was incredibly bad, stale, and tasteless. I don't understand how a place can manage to ruin such simple food. To make matters worse, the restroom was unbelievably filthy and completely unhygienic. The lack of cleanliness throughout the place was deeply disturbing. On top of all this nightmare, it cost us $30 per person. Paying that much for this level of terrible service and health-hazardous food is unacceptable. It’s a total waste of money and a risk to your health. Stay far away from this place!

The food is mainly spicy seafood, that could be to cover bland and tasteless food. There is not much of a variety, no noodles of any kind anywhere. The food is mislabeled so you're not quite sure if what you reach for is what you wanted. Even the fruit is suspect. The desserts look like one thing but the taste leaves you wondering what did I just eat. The plates are plastic and greasy. Please be sure to check the plates before putting anything that will be consumed on them. The crab legs look like they came from baby crabs. The best thing there is the soda machine. The only one that speaks and understands English is the cashier. I could go on but I'm hoping you get the gist of what you're walking into. I threw up as soon as I made it home. I got nauseous before I left and EVERYTHING came up and out plus dry heaved until everything came out. This was my first and last time going. I would not recommend for anyone, not even enemies!

The place is quite old. As for the food don't even get me started it is of terrible quality and offers very little variety. I would not return

Adequate buffet, good value for seafood lovers. When you enter, you'll be greeted and you'll pay $27 per person. The seating forms a U-shape around the food area. I decided to sit in a booth, but there were tables and chairs available too. They seemed reasonably clean and I spotted an employee wiping tables. There isn't a vast selection of food, but there is a variety. The fries were too salty and not crispy, the Jell-O was a bit chewy like there wasn't enough water used, the chow mein and fried rice were decent, the ice cream had to be scooped with the tiniest scoops I've ever seen and didn't have the flavors labeled, and the beef (?), lumpia, and fried chicken were really chewy. The pizza wasn't good, but was edible. The items I enjoyed were rice pudding, California roll, a green ice cream, and fried plantains. The ice cream didn't taste like any flavor, but it was good. Surprisingly, the California rolls tasted like they were made with real crab. Speaking of seafood, they have plenty of it. I don't like seafood, but I know it's sort of expensive, so I'd recommend coming here if you want to fill yourself up on it. I'd avoid the sashimi though. Other reviewers have said that t
